Some time ago, I dropped a prequel to this story and this is the follow up on the court’s decision concerning Tory lanez and Megan Thee Stallion.
Canadian rapper, Tory lanez showed up in court in response to this felony charges following up his arrest by the authorities on the 12th of July due to a shooting incident involving Megan Thee Stallion.
The court arraignment which was scheduled to hold yesterday in Los Angeles Country Superior Court for his three charges of assault with a semiautomatic gun, personal use of a gun and carrying a loaded, unlicensed gun in his vehicle.
Tory Lanez’s lawyer, Shawn Holly made a request to the court for the postponement in the case which was granted and that led to the avoidance of a plea.
However, the judge put a restraining order on Tory lanez in favour of Megan, stating that the Canadian rapper should not be within a 100 yards from Megan.
According to TMZ, the judge issued a protective order against Tory, requiring that he stay at least 100 yards away from Megan Thee Stallion. Furthermore, Tory’s bail was set at $190,000 which he will be posting through the services of bondsman also present at the court hearing.
So it appears sentencing won’t be in the picture. Lastly, the judge also ordered that Tory must surrender any firearms in his custody.
